CLARA EDWARDS (1887 - 1974) - Composer, songwriter ("Into the Night", "With the Wind and the Rain in Your Hair", "By the Bend of the River"), author and singer, educated at Mankato State Normal College and the Cosmopolitan School of Music in Chicago. She also studied in Europe. She sang in churches and in concerts in the US and abroad.
